The five centres have proved a success for Zimbabwe Cricket as it has more players taking part and now there are more than 100 players learning, playing and battling to get places in national age group team.
Some of the players who have graduated from the centres into the national age group teams include Tinashe Nenhunzi, Alvin Chiradza, Blessed Mutandwa, Tony Munyonga and Daniel Zvidzai.
Chipembere have become the first centre to get some equipment as Bakers Inn came to their aid with some sporting equipment.
Among the items donated to assist the players are helmets, boots, pads, cricket kit and machine balls.
ZC development manager, Nick Singo, said Baker Inn have done a tremendous job as this we boost the morale of the players.
“Bakers Inn has come on board they will sponsor our squads of excellence.
“They have started with the Chipembere squad of excellence and they are willing to help other centres in future.
“The centres are doing very well, and it is good that we are getting assistance from the corporate world.
“Most players are talented and we are delighted to help them.
