While it is universally accepted that travel without question expands one’s horizons culturally and intellectually, the concept of migration throughout history certainly captures an epic tug of war between US-EU imperialism and the indigenous people of numerous countries, which they have attempted to control and dominate for centuries.At this historical moment the people of Zimbabwe and Cuba primarily because of their defiance and resolve, have emerged as the primary targets of US-EU imperialism’s regime change agenda, as the quest for control of their human and material resources intensifies every single second minute and hour of the day.
Because the word dictator is the most commonly used labels by US-EU imperialism when describing President Mugabe and both Commandantes Fidel and Raul Castro, the citizens of Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America, whose minds are not polluted by this malicious and defeatist propaganda are torn between two age old emotions, seething anger and uncontrollable laughter.
This response stems from a sophisticated understanding of our plight and history that clearly reveals and demonstrates that for US-EU imperialism, the length of time that a President or Prime Minister holds office in Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America a political leader’s length of office is rather secondary.
What takes precedence is whether the leaders of nations in this part of the world give their total allegiance to the neo-liberalist and neo-colonialist as prescribed by our former colonial and slave masters.
At some point in the near future perhaps the citizens of Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America may decide to pursue an educational and research project that would result in the creation of a museum, dedicated to our most ruthless and corrupt dictators who could not have survived without the purse strings of US-EU imperialism.
This museum will house and expose the legacies of evil and wicked men like Mobutu Sese Seko, Felix Houphouet Boigny, Jean Bedel Boukasa, Anastacia Somoza Garcia, Augustus Pinochet, Jose Napoleon Duarte, Francois and Jean Claude Duvalier.
The message we will send is plain and simple, under no circumstances should freedom fighters the calibre of President Mugabe and Commandantes Fidel and Raul Castro be given a label traditionally reserved for reactionaries who were without question the scum of the earth.
One of the main strategies that both the Democratic and Republican party have banked on is that creating and maintaining a political base for unpatriotic Zimbabweans and Cubans inside US borders, will eventually pay huge dividends, because the day to day challenges and obstacles that the US blockade on Cuba and US-EU sanctions on Zimbabwe present will eventually wear down the leadership and people of both nations respectively.
The solidarity efforts in defence of the Cuban Revolution are prone to use the 1961 CIA led Bay of Pigs invasion and the US Blockade on Cuba as their main points of historical reference when aiming to change US imperialism’s policy on Cuba.
This makes sense because the blockade consists of six statutes that wreak of diplomatic terrorism in every respect, (The Trading With The Enemy Act of 1917, The Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, The Cuban Assets Control Regulations of 1963, The Helms Burton Bill of 1996, Trade Sanctions Reform and Export Enhancement Act of 2000).
What was unfortunately overshadowed is the Cuban Adjustment Act of 1966 that gives Cubans who migrate to the US a right to become legal permanent residents once they reach the US and remain on US soil for at least one numerical year.
This gives Cubans the distinction of being the only nationality that the US Congress made this provision before, holding true to the imperialist mantra and pedigree it was stated this act will be amended once Cuba becomes a democracy.
We only hope US imperialism’s definition of democracy never prevails in Cuba, however, if such a nightmare becomes a reality, let it not occur before what Christians call judgment day when Jesus Christ makes his triumphant return to reclaim God’s kingdom.
At the moment there are two million Hispanics of Cuban origin 57 percent who were actually born in Cuba. According to the US Customs and Border Protection data 43 189 Cubans entered the US in 2015, this represented an increase from 24 278 Cubans who entered the US in 2014. According to the Association of Zimbabweans Based Abroad there are 45 000 Zimbabweans in the US, 100 000 in the UK, 1,5 million in South Africa, 40 000 in Botswana and 30 000 in Australia.
Our blind faith and loyalty to the annals of history tell us these Cubans and Zimbabweans unbridled loyalty reserved for their nation’s greatest enemies, will never match the resolve of the millions of their countrywomen and countrymen who have decided to stay put and meet the hardships that the sanctions and blockade present. However, it doesn’t hurt to study and expose the gross opportunism of the more high profile reactionaries having the time of their life on the dime of imperialism and white supremacy.
A few years ago the New York Daily News did a feature on an Assistant Pastor of the Salvation Army Church in Harlem named Chaka Ngwenya who started a radio station called SARFM that comprised 16 deejays weekly, the motivation initially because Pastor Ngwenya missed the sound of Zimbabwean music, which can be understood since Zimbabwe is commonly referred to as the land of musicians.
It was only a matter of time before a station dedicated to exposing Africans inside US borders became a platform for pro MDC regime change journalists who were giving reports and analyses on Zimbabwe, the strategic impetus to start SARFM ironically took place at the beginning of the millennium when Zimbabwe embarked on the revolutionary Land Reclamation Programme, and was first hit with ZDERA(Zimbabwe Democracy and Economic and Recovery Act of 2001).
The invaluable commodity of time has taught Zimbabwe and Cuba to be prepared for everything US imperialism tries when attempting to sabotage their mission and direction. One of the most reactionary think tanks created on US soil is the International Republican Institute, who appears to have a pathological hatred for President Mugabe and zanu-pf.
Their most recent Programme Office and Uhuru Fellow is none other than Douglas Coltart who is the biological son of the former MP for Bulawayo South David Coltart one of the most influential members of MDC.
According to Mr Coltart’s job description he conducts research and writing on political developments throughout Southern Africa, conducted independent research and writing on the role of Zimbabwe’s new constitution in addressing obstacles to service delivery at the local government level and managed the Southern Africa portfolio which included overseeing the implementation of democratic governance programmes in Zimbabwe and Southern Africa.
Because we have been led to believe that since the end of the cold war Covert Intelligence tactics are a thing of the past, anyone who highlights the striking parallels between Mr Coltart’s job activity and the movement of a CIA agent, would be accused of by apologist for US imperialism being a conspiracy theorist.
For the Cubans these dynamics concerning the exploits of gusanos(slimy worms in spanish)is more adventurous and juicy to say the least.

When the Cuban American National Foundation was created in the early 1980’s, former US President Ronald Reagan rolled out the red carpet for these reactionaries who were prepared to do everything imaginable to overthrow the government of Commandante Fidel Castro.
With the help the United States Information Agency Radio Marti was born however in 1992 at a CANF Congress meeting in Naples, Florida it was decided that terrorist actions carried out by mercenaries in groups like Brothers to the Rescue, Alpha 66 and individuals like Luis Posada Carilles and Orlando Dr Death Bosch should be supported. This is according to the account of Jose Antonio Lama the former executive director of CANF’s executive board, who shared this info with the El Nuevo Herald who appeared to be angry because CANF stole 1,4 million dollars of his money during this period.

In recent years CANF has been forced to abandon its ultra right agenda and a split led to the emergence of another group called the Cuban Liberty Council who uses diplomacy to rub shoulders with the likes of George H.W. and George W Bush Lech Welesa of Poland,Vaclav Havel of Czechoslavakia, Jose Aznar of Spain, Ernesrto Zedillo of Mexico.
While Cubans and Zimbabweans function like remote control cars inside US borders, President Mugabe and Commandante Raul Castro remain true to the revolutionary principles that define their culture and people.
