THE king of Zim hip hop title debate is far from over as both Ti Gonzi and Holy Ten are claiming to be the best.

Speaking on Star FM on Tuesday, Ti Gonzi claimed he was the king when it comes to the genre, stating that he has won several awards.

“I am the king of free-styling, the king of hip hop,” he said.

“When was he crowned as the king, I have awards and the qualities of a king.

“I have the Best Artist award in Hip Hop here at Star FM. Two years ago I was the Outstanding Male Artist at the National Arts Merits Awards.

Ti Gonzi

“I have most hip hop awards in Zimbabwe,” said Ti Gonzi.

On Holy Ten’s statement that he was the king of Zimbabwean music, he said:

“I stand as the biggest and the best in Zimbabwe, I am the king of music at the moment.”

Ti Gonzi said it was good that he (Holy Ten) believes in himself.

“It is good for everyone to believe in themselves, the problem starts when you believe that you are the founder of music.

“I am happy he said I believe, there are people who put their beliefs in animals,” he said while addressing the statement Holy Ten made last week.
