IT’S a clash of football royalty in Botswana this afternoon as Zimbabwe’s legendary dream team laces up to take on South African greats in a Legends First XI showdown.

Fans are in for a nostalgic treat as former Warriors stars return to the pitch, ready to revive old rivalries and rewrite history in this mouth-watering regional encounter.
Between the sticks is motor-mouth shot-stopper Tapiwa Kapini, commanding a backline fortified by Herbert Dick, Oscar Machapa, Dumisani Mpofu, and the rock-solid Method Mwanjali.
Midfield is a cocktail of grit and flair featuring Esrom Nyandoro, Tinashe “Father” Nengomasha, and crowd-favourite Peter “Nsukuzonke” Ndlovu, who will be pulling strings behind a lethal front three.
Speedster Joel “Dubai” Lupahla mans the right flank, Alois Bunjira brings flair to the left, while goal poacher Edward Sadomba leads the line with killer instincts still intact.
On the bench is a who’s who of yesteryear heroes: Gift Muzadzi, Agent Sawu, Ronald “Gidiza” Sibanda, Zenzo Moyo, Eddie Dinha, Desmond Maringwa, Masimba Dinyero, and the hard-tackling Willard Katsande.
Coaching the boys is no-nonsense tactician Kaitano Tembo, promising fireworks and vintage football drama.
“We may be older, but we’ve still got that fire. SA must brace for war,” warned a pumped-up Peter Ndlovu.
Brace yourself Botswana, the past is back and it’s ready to entertain!
