Zim musclemen shine in Botswana

ZIMBABWEAN body-builders dominated the inaugural edition of the Gaborone Classics competition held at Lamina Lodge in Gaborone on Saturday evening. The local athletes occupied five of the top six slots in the main division which was won by Botswana hulk Gontse Sethsele. Vincent Kandiyero finished second although reports from Gaborone indicate that some neutrals felt the Zimbabwean should have landed the prize ahead of Sethsele who took P10 000 and P5 000 worth of supplements. Upenyu Biglife Mahlaulo was a surprise third in the contest as he was well conditioned for the show and brought an amazing maturity of muscle.

Biglife finished ahead of Isaac “Sugar” Chimuchenga, the reigning Mr Botwsana. Simba Fero, came fifth while the promising Nigel Donald Maphosa was sixth in the seniors after winning the juniors section.
