Zim, SA celebs excited, children back to school

ZIMBABWEAN celebrities are excited that their children have started school and they spent the better part of Tuesday and yesterday sharing pictures of their offsprings’ first day at school on social media.

Their South African counterparts did the same and each picture was accompanied by a message of how proud they were of their children.

Some like former Miss Zimbabwe Lorraine Maphala-Phiri and DJ Stavo, whose children are in grade one, could not hide their joy.

DJ Stavo wrote on his Facebook page: “So proud of My Son Jamie, and can’t believe how fast he is growing. First Day of School and he was so excited. ‪#‎ProudFather‬ ‪#‎BacktoSchool‬ ‪#‎Blessed‬.”

Maphala-Phiri wrote: “Go get them my girl ‪#‎Grade1things‬#mabhanzionfleek#.”

Over the Limpopo former Generations starlet, Winnie Mashaba, who played Khethiwe in the soapie, was among a whole host of other Mzansi celebs who shared their pics on social media.

Kalawa boss Oskido posted a picture of his two children at their boarding school – Crawford College – on his Instagram account insta@oskidoibelieve and captioned it: “Holidays are over. Checking in my youngsters at a boarding school”.- Sowetan
