The match will be played at two different venues — Sunrise Sports Club and Interfin High Performance Centre.
The two teams are expected to play three 50 overs games in their first three matches before playing a T20 game on the fourth day.
They are also expected to play another 50 over game on their final day.
The Zimbabwe Under-19 have been organising friendly matches with local teams like Mash Eagles to prepare themselves for the forthcoming matches.
Coach Chris Harris said he was happy that his players were getting opportunities to play friendly matches as it is one way of polishing up and learning new skills in preparation for the World Cup which is scheduled to start on August 4.
“I am happy that the players are taking up friendly matches this will help them to polish up for the World Cup.
“There is still a lot to learn and that is why we are organising the friendly matches which we believe will help them gain valuable experience.
“We have been training for the past eight months and the players have progressed and we just hope we will be able to get good results,” said Harris.
India and West Indies Under-19 cricketers are in the same group with Zimbabwe at the World Cup.
Zimbabwe Cricket national development manager Nick Singo said all is in place ahead of the friendly match against Dubai although they are having challenges that some of the players stay out of Harare.
“The friendly matches and training have been going on well despite the challenge that we are facing. Not all the players will be present during practice since they do not
stay in Harare and it is difficult for us to get them to practice.
“The more we see the players training and taking part in friendly matches, the easier it will become for us to do the selection,” said Singo.
