The Zimbabwe Under-19 Triathlon team has left the country for the Youth Championships scheduled for this Sunday in Maselspoort, South Africa.
Two athletes from the team will also proceed to represent the country in the Under-19 Junior Elite category at the 2023 Africa Triathlon Junior Cup Event set for March.
The triathletes were chosen from St George’s College, Hellenic Academy, Chisipite Senior, Peterhouse Boys, Core Academy, Eaglesvale and Siloam Academy.
The team is under the guardianship of manager Marlise Van As, coach Pamela Fulton and her assistant Marcel Paulse.
