ZIM UNDER-19S WIN BRONZE

ZIMBABWE Under-19 women’s Table Tennis national team on Wednesday clinched a bronze medal at the ongoing ITTF Africa Youth Championships in Gaborone, Botswana.

Coached by Vimbai Makuvaza, the team finished third behind Egypt and South Africa.

Team manager Fungai Zinatsa was thrilled with the achievements of the junior team, which was making its debut at the ITTF Africa Youth Championships.

“We are thrilled with the achievements of our under-19 women’s Table Tennis team.

They have demonstrated the depth of talent and the bright future of our sport in Zimbabwe.”
