Zim win gold at Zone VI gymnastics championships

ZIMBABWE’S Priviledge Sande made the country proud after scooping two gold medals in the junior men’s artistic gymnastics at the Zone VI Champion ship at Belvedere Technical Teachers’ College yesterday.Sande picked his first gold medal on vault before getting his second gold for Rings. In Pommel section, Sande won a silver before ending his presentation with a bronze on the High-Bar.

Moses January added gold in the Floor routine for the Zimbabwe artistic team and then picked a bronze in the P-Bar category.
In the senior pairs team, Rebekah Roberts and Albertina Mashoko got another silver medal.

The aerobics team got four silver medals and one bronze. Roberts was happy with her show.
“It was good that we won. The event was so interesting and competitive. I love competition, so the fact that it was competitive made me enjoyed it,” said Roberts.
