Zimbabwe is open for investment, trade and partnerships that promote sustainable socio-economic development and mutual benefit, President Mnangagwa has said.
Addressing Japanese and Zimbabwe business delegations at the Zimbabwe Business Forum that was held on the sidelines of the World Expo 2025 Osaka in Japan this morning, President Mnangagwa called on the two countries to improve their trade relations to enhance economic development.

The business delegations were drawn from various sectors, including mining, tourism and hospitality, agriculture and manufacturing.
“Opportunity lies not only in what exists today but in what we can build together,” President Mnangagwa said.
“I have come with a clear message. Zimbabwe is open for business, investment, trade, innovation, and partnerships that focus on sustainable growth and mutual benefit.
“Concerted efforts must be made to improve the trade relations between Zimbabwe and Japan so that they match the cordial political relationship that exists between our two countries,” said the President.
