Zimbabwe’s young stars delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 Little Mister Africa pageant, securing top titles and strong placements across multiple categories in a competition that continues to spotlight emerging talent from across the continent.
The prestigious event, which celebrates confidence, grace and excellence among young boys, featured several age divisions including Toto, Mini, Little and Teen Mister Africa. This year’s edition saw Zimbabwean contestants making their mark against stiff regional competition.
In the Toto Mister Africa category, Zambia’s Tumelo Alex Mundia was crowned winner, while Zimbabwe’s King Epikazio Mushunje claimed the first runner-up position. Mushunje’s performance stood out for his poise and confidence, earning him recognition among the top young contestants in his category.
Zimbabwe’s breakthrough moment came in the Mini Mister Africa category, where Credo Kereke clinched the title, beating contestants from across Africa. His victory was one of the highlights of the competition and added to Zimbabwe’s growing list of achievements in youth pageantry.
The country continued its dominance in the Little Mister Africa category, with Nathan Tadiwanashe Sithole taking home the crown. Sithole’s win further cemented Zimbabwe’s strong presence at the event, as he emerged ahead of South Africa’s Bongane Mambo, who was named first runner-up. In the Teen Mister Africa category, South Africa’s Reatlegile Mmotsa secured the top spot, while Zimbabwe’s Evans Takarambandi finished as first runner-up. Takarambandi’s performance ensured Zimbabwe maintained visibility across all age groups, with contestants consistently ranking among the best.
Pageant organisers took to social media to congratulate the winners and participants, praising the young contestants for their confidence, grace and excellence displayed throughout the competition.
In their message, they highlighted the exceptional talent showcased on stage and commended all participants for their effort and dedication.
“We are proud to celebrate these exceptional young stars who shined with confidence, grace and excellence,” read part of the congratulatory message.
The organisers also acknowledged the competitive spirit of the event, noting that each contestant brought something unique to the stage.
The results reflect Zimbabwe’s growing influence in youth pageantry, with representatives excelling not only in presentation but also in confidence and stage presence. The country’s participants demonstrated a high level of preparation, contributing to their success across different categories.
