Zimbabwe end 2021 ranked number 12

THE Zimbabwe netball team will finish the year ranked 12th on the International Netball Federation world rankings.

The rankings include matches played from March 31 to December 5, which are matches played in the Northern Ireland Test Series, Taini Jamison Trophy, Pent Series, Africa Netball Cup.

At the Pent Series, the Gems finished third and they emerged fifth in the Africa Netball Cup. The top five teams in the world are Australia, New Zealand, England, Jamaica and South Africa, who all retained their places.

Uganda, who won the Pent Series in Namibia, moved up to sixth, replacing Malawi, who dropped one place down to seventh.
