Zimbabwe Fashion Week (ZFW), originally slated for October 16-20 in Victoria Falls, is now set to run from Friday through Sunday at Harare’s ZICCA House. The venue change, announced by ZFW Director Marshall Mutsamwira, was due to “unforeseen circumstances beyond our control”, but the spirit of the event remains unaffected.
“We remain committed to delivering a vibrant showcase of fashion, creativity, and culture,” Mutsamwira said.
“This new venue allows us to present ZFW against the lively atmosphere of Harare, a hub for innovation and inspiration.”
This year’s event, following a four-year hiatus before its relaunch last year, promises an exciting array of runway shows, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, all highlighting the diversity of Zimbabwean fashion.
The programme will include daily panel discussions beginning at noon, engaging industry experts on fashion trends, challenges, and future opportunities. This year’s ZFW promises to be a remarkable event celebrating Zimbabwe’s thriving fashion industry.
Established in 2009, ZFW has long been a launchpad for emerging designers and models, celebrating local fashion talent and propelling Zimbabwe onto the global fashion map.
