Zimbabwe Olympic Committee announce YOG team

The Zimbabwe Olympic Committee will send 11 athletes to challenge for honours at the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games (YOG).

The Games being staged on the African continent for the first time, are running from October 31 to November 13 in Senegal.

Zimbabwe will send competitors in athletics, cycling, judo, equestrian, rowing, triathlon and swimming.

Athletics: Prudence Kasuwa, Tanatswa Magwindi.

Cycling: Rohnan Nicholson.

Equestrian: Terry Angelos.

Judo: Makanaka Vanessa Nherera.

Swimming: Alexis Johnsen, Daniella Viki, Connor Grist, Kwandokuhle Nkomazana.

Rowing: Arianna Robinson.

Triathlon: Rachel O’Donoghue.

Athletics: Letwin Kudakwashe.

Cycling: Elsie Mahumbe.

Equestrian: Ricky Johnstone.

Judo: Lazarus Arufandika.

Swimming: Lindsy Tudor Cole

Rowing: Kerrie Zaal (coach), Tommee Ka Bo (boat handler).
