Zimbabwe on brink of Super 8 berth

Zimbabwe will be hoping to seal off a place in the Super 8 of the 2026 T20 World Cup when they take on Ireland at Pallekelle International Cricket Stadium in Sri-Lanka today.

The match is scheduled to start at 11:30 am local time.

Zimbabwe is looking towards sealing a place in the Super 8 with a match remaining.

The two countries have played a total of 18 matches in the short format of white-ball cricket.

Of the 18 matches, each side has won eight, and the remaining two matches ended either in a draw or with no result.
