Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services holds Commissioner General Goodwill Fund

The Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services is today holding the Commissioner General Goodwill Fund hand over at Anju Prison Farm in Matabeleland North province.

ZPCS Commissioner General Moses Chihobvu is the guest of honour is expected to deliver his key note address.

The function is attended by the Commissioner Generals from Namibia, eSwatini, Botswana, and Zambia and representatives from Mozambique.

There are 17 orphans who received food hampers, stationary and will have their school fees paid as benefits.

The orphans are drawn Matabeleland North and South provinces.

Among the beneficiaries there are two children from the San community.

The Commissioner General Goodwill Trust Fund was established in 2011, with the aim of assisting widows, widowers and orphans of deceased correction officers.
