Zimbabwe Property Expo postponed to October

THE Zimbabwe Property Expo, which was initially scheduled for August, has been postponed to October.

The expo was scheduled to take place at the Celebration Centre in Harare on August 9 and 10 but had to be temporarily halted to pave way for the 44th SADC Summit, which took place in Mt Hampden on August 17.

In a statement, the Africa Exhibition Group, which hosts the expo, said the event remains committed to contributing to real estate in Zimbabwe and across the continent.

“Africa Exhibition Group (Pty) Ltd, a Harare-based company, would like to inform our valued customers and stakeholders that the Zimbabwe Property Expo, originally scheduled for 9-10 August 2024 at Celebration Centre in Harare, has been postponed to 4-5 October 2024 at the same venue,” the statement reads in part.

“The decision to reschedule was made due to the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Summit in Harare, which took place from 8-17 August 2024 …

“The Zimbabwe Property Expo, hosted by Africa Exhibition Group in partnership with the Estate Agents Council of Zimbabwe, remains a premier event dedicated to unlocking the value of the real estate sector in Zimbabwe and across Africa.”

In the same statement, the group’s non-executive chairperson, Dr Tawafadza Makoni, said the expo will present the latest developments and investments in the real estate industry.

“In our relentless pursuit to put Zimbabwe and Africa on the international map through premier event solutions, Africa Exhibition Group is proud to present our flagship project: the Zimbabwe Property Expo. This ambitious initiative showcases Zimbabwe’s vast real estate potential to a global audience,” Dr Makoni said.

“Our aim is to gain international recognition as the premier events solutions architect in Africa. By showcasing Africa’s best to the world, we aim to unlock the continent’s potential and herald a new era of collaboration.

“We invite all stakeholders to join us as we present the latest developments, investments, and services in the property industry. The expo will provide a unique platform for networking, learning and exploring innovative solutions in real estate.”
