BIG Brother Hotshots housemates, Resa from Zambia and Mozambican Mira yesterday became the first two housemates to be evicted at the Live Eviction show meaning Zimbabwean housemates JJ and Butterphly are still in the game to win the $300,000 prize.
There was a new format of choosing housemates for eviction as there were 12 housemates, which included Zimbabwe’s JJ, who had no country votes. They were put into a group with Mira and Resa having the least number of votes from all the 14 countries.

Zimbabweans had their hearts in their mouths as JJ’s name came up for possible eviction, but all that was forgotten when Big Brother Hotshots presenter Ike called out Resa first and Mira last.

Africa seems to have fallen in love with Butterphly as she was not up for eviction because she was not in the group of 12 that had the least votes.
The now ex-housemate Resa said she was at peace with the eviction and she was only being herself in the house.

She blamed the eviction on the one-month period where she was holed up in a hotel because of the delay caused by the original house burning down.
“I was detached from my fan base because of the lock down,” said Resa.

Mira, who was close to Namibian Luis and South African Nhlanhla, whom she both kissed during the week, said she was relieved that she was out of the house.

“I missed my family, my phone. But it was a good experience to be there,” she said.
Meanwhile, on Saturday night at the Extravaganza show, team Waka Waka that featured Butterphly won the hearts of Africans as they were voted the best.

This means JJ who was in the Green Peppers is up for possible eviction next week and Butterphly is immune from eviction as the pool for possible eviction will come from the losing team.

Housemates who are up for eviction are Laveda from Tanzania, Lilian and Tayo (both Nigeria), Kaycey Moore (Ghana), Sabina and Alusa (both Kenya), Arthur and Frankie (both Rwanda), Esther (Uganda), Samantha (South Africa), JJ (Zimbabwe), Goitse (Botswana) and Permithias (Namibia).
