Zimbabwe resume day two with the bat as Proteas declare

SOUTH Africa have declared their overnight day one score of 418/9 in the first Test against Zimbabwe at Queens Sports Club.
The declaration means that Tanaka Chivanga, who was on four wickets misses out on a chance to fight for a maiden Test five-for while Zimbabwe resume day two with the bat.

South Africa dominated the first day of the Test despite early setbacks in the morning session where they lost four wickets.
Lhuan-dre Pretorious starred with the bat for South Africa, scoring 153 runs to become the youngest player to score 150 in Test cricket at 19. Corbin Bosch finished unbeaten on 100 while Dewald Brevis chipped in with a counter attacking 51 runs off 41 balls.
Brian Bennett and Takudzwanashe Kaitano open the batting for Zimbabwe.
