Zimbabwe takes over as SADC Senior officials chair

Zimbabwe has taken over as the SADC Standing Committee of Senior Officials chair.
The handing over of the SADC Standing Committee of Senior Officials chairpersonship from Angola’s Ambassador Nazaré José Salvador, Director of the SADC Office in Angola, Ministry of External Relations, to the incoming chairperson, Ambassador Albert Ranganai Chimbindi, Zimbabwe’s Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, was done at New Parliament building in Mt Hampden this morning.

“As chair, Zimbabwe stands ready to collaborate with all Member States and our cooperating partners as we intensify our efforts towards implementing our shared aspirations enshrined in our regional blueprint, the Regional Indicative Strategic Development Plan 2020 to 2030,” said Ambassador Chimbindi.
