Zimbabwe to host 34th Zimbabwe-Zambia Joint Permanent Commission on Defence and Security

ZIMBABWE will host the 34th Session of the Zimbabwe-Zambia Joint Permanent Commission on Defence and Security in Victoria Falls this weekend.
Delegates are expected to arrive on Friday, ahead of a welcome dinner in the evening, with official proceedings set to commence on Saturday morning.
The Zimbabwe Defence Forces is hosting the event, which will begin with the official opening of the officials’ meeting on Saturday morning, followed by committee meetings.
The commission comprises three committees: Defence, State Security, and Public Security.
On Sunday morning, a senior officials’ meeting will take place, during which all three committees will present their reports for consideration and adoption. This will be followed by the closing ceremony for the officials’ meeting and the subsequent Ministers’ meeting.
