Zimbabwe Tourism Authority celebrates International Zebra Day

THE Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) is celebrating International Zebra Day which is important in highlighting the threats that zebras face in the wild and promotion of conservation efforts.

The day is commemorated worldwide on 31 January.

In a statement, ZTA said that spreading the information helps educate people on how they can protect the animals.

“International Zebra Day is an important opportunity to highlight the threats that zebras face in the wild and to promote conservation efforts. By spreading information about their endangerment, we can educate others on how they can help protect these beautiful animals,” read the statement.
