A THREE-year old girl was found dead with missing body parts in a gully at the foot of Mountain after going missing for a week.
In a statement, police said Caroline Makubhwakwa went missing on 17 January 2024 after she left to play under a nearby tree in Mhokwe Village, Mushumbi.
The body of the deceased was found on 25 January 2024 in Guruve at Mavhuradona Mountain.
“ZRP confirms a sad incident in which Caroline Makubhwakwa, a three years old female juvenile was found lying dead with some body parts missing in a gully at the foot of Mavhuradona Mountain, Guruve on 25/01/24.
“The victim had been reported missing on 17/01/24 after she had left her grandmother going to play under a nearby tree in Mhokwe Village, Mushumbi. More details will be released as investigations unfold,” reads the statement.
