Expectations are high within the Zimbabwean camp, with confidence that both teams are motivated and ready to rise to the occasion.

Reflecting on the Under-18 semi-final victory, head coach Farai Mukundu praised his players’ commitment and teamwork.

“The athletes are not slacking in any way. They are representing their country wholeheartedly. Their performance was impressive. Communication has been excellent, and that has been a major factor in our success. I am very proud of the team,” he said.

President of the Zimbabwe Handball Federation, Taurai Muberekwa, also expressed optimism ahead of the finals.

“I am humbled and encouraged by the boys’ determination, courage, commitment and perseverance. I have great faith in Team Zimbabwe and a strong conviction that we have a good chance of bringing the trophy home. The players are positive, and that is a source of strength which could lead us to a historic victory,” he said.
