BN Soccer Academy starlet, Tatenda Nyoni will this month become the latest Zimbabwean to take a crack at impressing the football scouts at the United States’ Dartmouth College.

Nyoni, son to Zimbabwe Soccer Coaches Association boss Bhekhimpilo, is among over promising 100 teenagers who have been invited for a trial stint which runs from July 13-20.

Nyoni will have to impress the Boston based institution of higher learning’s coaching staff to get a football scholarship and join former BN Academy colleague Elijah Soko at the institution.

The youngster’s father noted that the development gives BN Academy a chance to cement relations with the American institute. Nyoni, who is also the BN Academy director, also expressed confidence his son’s abilities.

“Tatenda has been doing very well at St Georges School and we hope he will be able to make an impression and get a scholarship,” said Nyoni senior. Former Zimbabwe Under-23 midfielder Methembe Ndlovu once played for Dartmouth.
