Zimbabweans dominate Christian Leadership and Impact Makers Awards

Top local gospel musicians Everton Mlalazi and Dorcas Moyo raised the country’s flag high by clinching prestigious awards in Nigeria last weekend.
The eighth edition of the Christian Leadership and Impact Makers Awards (CLIMA) were held in Nigeria under the theme “The rebirth”.

The awards were launched in 2017 to honor African gospel musicians, clergymen, and other talented individuals.

Minister Everton Mlalazi bagged the Africa’s Best Male Artist Award for the second time and also clinched the Africa Gospel Music Viewer’s Choice Award.

His wife cum manager, Gamuchirai, walked away with Best Manager in Africa while the Africa Best female Artist Award went to Dorcas Moyo

The awards are a recognition of the impact and contributions of individuals to the gospel music industry and the Christian community.

Previous winners of the awards include Mercy Chinwo, Tim Godfrey, Israel Mbonyi, Moses Bliss, Dunsin Oyekan, Ebuka Songs, and Ntokozo Mbambo.
