It is going to be a dancehall night at Legends Sports Bar in Marondera where talented Zimdancehall chanter Soul Jah Love is set to share the stage with Ricky Fire. The show will also see popular Zimdancehall DJs Templeman and Garry B doing what they know best. In an interview, Soul Jah Love and Ricky Fire promised fireworks to the people of Marondera.“We are firemen and every time we perform we do fireworks, so we are promising nothing but the best of performance to all Zimdancehall fans in Marondera. We have new stuff that we will be sampling and we urge people to come in their numbers,” said Ricky Fire.
Soul Jah Love, who is set to share the stage again with Winky D at Platimun in Mutare tomorrow, promised a top notch performance.
“I am excited about the show. This is the first time that I will be performing in Marondera and I can’t wait to take the Conquering Family to Mashonaland East.
“I will be performing my hits from my previous albums and also my tracks from latest album ‘Dai Hupenyu Hwaitengwa’. We have a lot in store for our fans,” said Soul Jah Love .
One of the organisers of the show Daniel Masaiti said they have decided to work with Chipaz Promotions to bring Zimdancehall acts to Marondera since there have been numerous requests from fans.
“We are excited to be bringing these Zimdancehall acts to Marondera because we have been focusing much on sungura lately and Zimdancehall fans have been complaining that we are letting them down.
“We then partnered with Chipaz Promotions to make sure that we bring Soul Jah Love, Ricky Fire, Templeman and Garry B and we are looking forward to a successful show,” he said.
