UK-BASED gospel supremo, Reverend Toggy Chivaviro and veteran musician, feels loved by the Zimbabwean community in Leeds.
Over the years, the multiple award-winning star was based in the US and he has just settled in Leeds.
Not only has the cleric settled in Leeds, but he was added as a member of the ZimLeeds Community, a grouping of Zimbabweans resident in the East Midlands of England.
‘‘I’m new in the Leeds Community having just relocated from Dallas, Texas, US. Their media wing led by Enisia Mashusha approached me and we engaged with members of the executive on possible collaborative areas to unite and increase fellowship within the community.
‘‘The chairman (Chris Goshomi) shared their vision which I must say I was quite excited about. He and the other team members were very clear in articulation and I felt challenged to work with them in achieving the vision of the community,’’ he said
Chivaviro has promised to use his influence and help the community.
‘‘I’m both a cleric and artiste, and I am ready to be an active member by using those skills to help unite and enrich the community.
‘‘I am also excited that I will also be officiating at some community events and help in areas like spiritual counselling, entertainment and youth development,’’ he said
