Zimpapers, Pick n Pay donate

ZIMPAPERS, TM Pick n Pay and the Twins Association of Zimbabwe have collaborated to support the struggling mother of triplets born in Epworth recently.

Mercy Njukuya had appealed for help to support her triplets, and through our sister paper Kwayedza’s initiative.

The organisations donated food, money and nine blankets.

TM Pick n Pay marketing manager, Paidamoyo Mhazo, thanked the firm’s customers for making businesses, like hers, support those in need.

Twins Association of Zimbabwe member, Tendai Katonha, praised the companies for their support and appealed for additional donations to the triplets.

Mercy had approached Kwayedza seeking help, saying the father of the babies was a vendor and it had become difficult to feed them due to prevailing economic                                         hardships.

Mhazo said:

“As TM Pick n Pay we would like to thank all our customers for their support which makes it possible for us to help those in need in the community.

“We want to appreciate the good job being done by Zimpapers in informing the country on issues like this and we hope our gift will assist.”
