Zimpapers to hand over Tokwe-Mukosi donations

Zimpapers, under its Zimpapers Digital-caring about communities initiative,  will today deliver to Masvingo donated goods, clothing and supplies that were collected from members of the public who heeded the call to assist flood victims in Tokwe Mukosi.

The donations will be handed over tomorrow at Chingwizi resettlement area as the company honours its pledge of not only receiving the donations but also transporting the donated goods to the victims.

Over 35 bales of clothing were collected while shoes, blankets and some utensils were also received from members of the public who thronged Zimpapers offices on a daily basis to leave donations in an extraordinary show of solidarity, compassion and heartwarming generosity.

Apart from individuals, corporate entities also donated towards the noble cause, with Olivine Industries donating 30 cases of soap bars and 30 boxes of sugar beans for onward delivery to the flood victims.
