Zimpost to introduce special heroes postage stamps

In a statement, Zimpost public relations manager Ms Marian Banda said the stamps would be issued to coincide with this year’s Heroes Day commemorations on August 8.

“The four national heroes are comrades George Silundika, Julia Zvobgo, Ariston Maguranyanga Chambati and Joseph Luke Culvrewell,” she said.

“They are a good way of recording the nationhood of a people.”
Ms Banda said the stamps would be valid for a period of four years from the date of issue. She added that the stamps would be readily available at all Zimpost branches countrywide. – New Ziana.
