Madziyire, who is a producer par excellence, has transformed the group to become a force to be reckoned with in gospel music.
Recently the group shared the stage with US gospel singer Juanita Bynum and they put together a flawless act as if they had performed together for years.
“We are a group of young and energetic musicians. Each one of us has a special talent which makes the choir sound the way it does,” Madziyire said.
Through the ZimPraise project, Madziyire says he hopes to inspire the youths to behave and believe in the Lord.
ZimPraise is basking in the glory of their new album titled “The Covenant: Season 4”, a DVD recorded capturing their countrywide tour.
The DVD features the likes of Sabastian Magacha of the “Ridza Bhosvo” fame, veteran singer Baba Machanic Manyeruke, Tembalami and Stanley Gwanzura popularly known as Pastor G.
The choir features instrumentalists who include Hofmeyer Madzinga on bass guitar, Josh Chiweda on acoustic guitar, Peter Kwenda on percussion, Simbarashe Dembedza on drums and Tapiwa Jere on lead guitar.
