Zimsec June 2025 exam results out

THE Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (Zimsec) has released the results for the June 2025 Ordinary and Advanced Level examinations, with both levels recording improved pass rates.
In a statement, Zimsec board chair Professor Paaul Mapfumo said the results became available on their online portal for five days from Saturday.
He said heads of examination centres can collect the physical results Zimsec regional offices starting today (Monday).
Professor Mapfumo said an increase in candidature was recorded this year compared to 2024.
“A total number of 40 465 candidates registered for the June 2025 Ordinary Level examinations as compared to 32 026 who registered for the June 2024 session. There was an increase of 8 439 registered candidates in the June 2025 Ordinary Level examination session, translating to a percentage increase of 20.86. The 2025 pass rate increased by 1.43 percent. For Advanced Level, there was a 36,07 percent increase in the overall pass rate,” said Professor Mapfumo.
