ZINARA reviews toll fees

The Zimbabwe National Roads Administration (ZINARA) has reviewed toll fees with effect from February 1.

In a statement, ZINARA said Zim dollar toll fees will apply in terms of Section 4 of Statutory Instrument 32 of 2021.

 We would like to advise our valued customers that with effect from February 1, the ZWL toll fees will apply in terms of Section 4 of Statutory Instrument 32 of 2021.”

According to the statement, the toll fees are set in US dollars, but convertible at the official auction exchange rate.

Motorcycles are exempted from paying toll fees, while light motor vehicles will pay US$2 or $1 600, minibuses US$3 (2 400), buses US$4 ($3 200), heavy vehicles US$5 ($4 000), haulage trucks US$10 ($8 000), and residential discount per term US$40 ($32 200).
