The Zimbabwe National Army has postponed tomorrow’s première of Chinhoyi 7 at Ster Kinekor, Borrowdale.

In a statement yesterday, ZDF Director of Public Relations Colonel Overson Mugwisi said the postponement was due to reasons beyond their control.

“Chinhoyi 7 movie première, which was set to hit the big screen across the country after its launch at Ster Kinekor, Borrowdale this Friday 16 March 2018 is hereby postponed to a date to be advised,” he said.

Colonel Mugwisi said people should keep their tickets since they were still valid.

“Members of the public who had bought tickets for the première are to keep them safely since they remain valid until the next première date, which is not far away,” he said.

He added that ticket sales would continue at Ster Kinekor, Borrowdale and Eastgate.

The film is based on the famous battle of Chinhoyi that ignited the Second Chimurenga. It features some prominent Zimbabweans actors, musicians and poets such as Eddie Sandifolo, Albert Nyathi, Fungisai Mashavave, Julian Shaw and Cynthia Stone.
