ZOU team find value in social football

ZIMBABWE Open University staff game coordinator, Simbarashe Muchairi, said social football is helping their players to interact with others from different spheres.

ZOU play in the Parastatal League and are currently eighth with 19 points.

MMCZ lead the table with 38 points, while CIMAS are at the basement with just eight points.

“Our league games are every Saturday.

It helps us interact and network with others.

“Our team is composed of ZOU staff from different departments.

“Matches have helped us a lot in terms of our physical fitness and well-being.

“It has now become our way of life,” he said.

ZOU will play Petrozim this weekend.
