ZPC Hwange go 10 games unbeaten

ZIFA Southern Region League seasoned campaigners, ZPC Hwange continued with their fine form that saw them post their 10th consecutive win when they edged Nkayi United 2-1 in a match that was played on Saturday.

ZPC Hwange, who are under the guidance of former Hwange and ZPC Kariba assistant coach, Mebelo Njekwa, are now on 30 points, 11 ahead of second-placed Casymn who beat second from the bottom Ajax Hotspurs 1-0.

The game between Zimbabwe Saints and Plumtree-based Mainline was postponed to a later date. The former is on 18 points. Golding Dube’s Talen Vision walloped Bosso 90- 4-1 to take their points tally to 15, one behind DRC United who are on position five.

Johannes Ngodzo and his Adachi charges played a nil all draw against Jordan Sinott.

The league’s new boys Zebra Revolution suffered a shock 4-1 defeat at the hands of Victoria Falls City.

Army side Indlovu Iyanyathela beat DRC United 1- 0.

Mosi Rovers beat league returnees Bulawayo City 1-0.
