ZIFA Central Region Division One side, ZPC Munyati, has opened trials for players who want to be part of their project in the upcoming season.
The trials start today up to the end of this month at ZPC Munyati Power Station Ground in Kwekwe.
The club will be holding two sessions a day, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon.
The club is looking at assessing players between the ages of 17 and 26 years.
ZPC Munyati coach, Godfrey Tamirepi, said they are open to anyone, who feels he can make the required grade.
“We are calling players who want to be part of us to come for trials. We are open to everyone who feels they can be part of us,” he said.
“We are going to assess the boys for a lengthy period so that they can express themselves and adapt.
“We can’t strictly say we are looking for a certain type of player, but we will be looking at things like how the player adds to our game,” he said.
Tamirepi said he is hoping to have a strong campaign this season and they have to focus
“We have to brace ourselves and prepare for the upcoming season. The competition will always get tough as most clubs will work on their weakness and improve their squads as well.
“So, we have to work and prepare ourselves for the big marathon and try to end in a better position at the end of season.
“But our major focus at the moment is to bolster our squad with the right talent by giving opportunities to young players,” he said.
