SAUL Chaminuka has warned hosts Bantu Rovers that his unbeaten newboys are coming for an “all-out war” as they seek to bounce back to winning ways in a Castle Lager Premiership match at Luveve this afternoon.The side has drawn six games in nine matches.
ZPC Kariba are now on fifth position on the log standings with 15 points, four behind log leaders Highlanders, who are also undefeated.
ZPC Kariba last won a match on May 3 when they thrashed Triangle 5-1 at Gibbo and have settled for the share of spoils in their last three assignments.
“We are looking forward to getting a full set of points. We haven’t won a match in a while and my players know exactly what it means,” said Chaminuka.
“The fact that Bantu Rovers are at home and that they are a good team means it will be an all-out war. We will have to fight hard and I believe we are prepared for that.”
ZPC will have to do without three key players who have been ruled out of this match.
Veteran midfielder Pride Tafirenyika is a doubtful starter as he is nursing a shoulder injury while defenders Dexter Phiri and Dennis Dauda are out because of illness and family bereavement.
Chaminuka said he was not in the mood to talk about Norman Togara who deserted the club this week citing poor working conditions.
Bantu Rovers coach Methembe Ndlovu will also be looking for victory at home after losing the previous game before the international break 1-0 to CAPS United despite playing well. An exciting match is expected at Barbourfields on Sunday when Highlanders host resurgent FC Platinum.
