ZRP Raiders, Highlanders on positive start

BULAWAYO volleyball outfits ZRP Raiders and Highlanders are targeting a positive start when the Zimbabwe Volleyball Association National League season starts today.
ZRP Raiders play host to Harare Polytechnic and Black Rhinos while Highlanders will travel to the capital to face ZRP Harare and Support Unit.

The two clubs will seek to book early slots to represent the country at the Zone V1 Club Championships next month.
ZRP Raiders coach Vulindlela Moyo said the team is in a buoyant mood ahead of their double header.

“Morale is high in camp, everyone is excited ahead of the games as we want to get it right from the onset,” said Moyo.
Moyo said he will be spoilt for choice as all his players are available for selection.
“I have a full squad, it’s a plus for us,” he said.

Midlands State University play host to Naba Stars and Support Unit in Gweru.
The league is expected to end on 23 November.
