Zvimba dancehall artist hails locals

ZVIMBA-BASED dancehall artist, Luckmore “Klappa” Yaseen,  reckons he can’t do without his community’s support.

The 21-year-old hailed the people of Kutama and Zvimba for their loyalty to his brand.

Klappa, who got the moniker from Zim dancehall sensation Poptain, has released two singles titled Mai Sorobhi produced by Cymplex, and Nova Scotia by Gzzy of Bad Company.

In an interview, he said:

“Every artist needs support in their neighbourhood or area and the people of Zvimba have been a blessing to me in terms of supporting me and my music.

“My journey is still long and, with such support, I know I will make it.

“I won’t let my people down and I’m very much eager to make it and become a top artist one day.

“I have new music that is out and, as of now, I’m just concentrating on doing singles

“Hopefully, in good time, I will be able to record an album,” he said.
