Ten suspected drug dealers have been arrested in Karoi and the police have recovered 35 sachets of crystal meth, commonly known as mutoriro.
Police also recovered various other illicit substances from the suspects.
The suspects are Tinashe Rapi (29), Watch Mwenyani (40), Evans Musendami (26), Cortney Chinyandura (30), Isaac Dhina (26), Omega Kundishora (32), Osley Musa , Bonface Makanyaire (34), Tanatswa Masamba (24) , Advance Chisanya (27) and Tawanda Charapukira (18).
They were arrested in Chikangwe and Chiedza suburbs for drug peddling.
National police spokesperson, Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the arrests.
“The arrest led to the recovery of 35 sachets of crystal meth, trimethoprim and sulfamethoxazole 400 mg tablets and three smoking barrels,” he said.
