City shop loses over US$3 500 to robbers

Three robbers raided a shop in Warren Park D and stole over US$3 500.
The robbers attacked a security guard and gained entry into the shop where they stole a cellphone and the cash.

Police have since launched a manhunt for the suspects.

National police spokesperson, Commissioner Paul Nyathi said, “Police in Harare are appealing for information which may assist in the investigation of a case of robbery which occurred at a shop at Chidewe Shopping Centre, Warren Park D.

“Three suspects attacked the security guard who was on duty before gaining entry into the shop where they stole a cellphone and US$3 525. Anyone with information can report at the nearest police station.”
