TWELVE Bulawayo schools will converge at the ceremonial home of rugby, Hartsfield Grounds, today for the Old Mutual Schools Rugby Cup which targets high density schools.

The tournament kicked off in Harare yesterday and today Tafara 1 High plays host to Tafara 2 High and Mabvuku.

This is another chance for Tafara 1 and 2 to take revenge on Mabvuku that dominated both at the schools festival winning 19-17 and 29-0 respectively.

Schools set to participate at Hartsfield Grounds today are Entumbane, Northlea, Sobukazi, St Columba’s, Mzilikazi, Nkulumane, Ihlathi, Hamilton, Amhlophe, Msiteli, Sizane and St Bernard’s.

Mzilikazi, who won two of their three games at the recently ended festival in Harare, and Sobukazi, who only managed one win, are expected to be on top of their game and head proceedings taking into account that their reputation will be under constant challenge from emerging schools.

The final day tomorrow will be in Chitungwiza at Zengeza 1 High as 12 schools in Seke 1, 2,3,4,6, Nyatsime, Herentals, Zengeza 1,2,3,4, and B and P showcase their skills.
