A 17-year-old boy was on Wednesday arrested for raping two minor children in the same house.
The boy visited Kuwadzana 5 Paddocks with the intention of playing with the minor children aged 3 and 6 as he used to do occasionally.
Upon arrival, the accused claimed that it was hot outside and he requested the two children to accompany him to the kitchen.
The domestic worker was in the bedroom, doing household chores.
The boy took advantage of her absence in the bedroom and raped the minors.
The domestic worker discovered the crime when she went to the kitchen and found the teenager with his trousers and undergarments lowered while one minor was still undressed
Harare provincial police spokesperson Inspector Luckmore Chakanza confirmed the case.
“Police arrested a Kuwadzana boy for raping two minor children and released in the custody of his mother since he is a minor aged 17 years.
“Investigations are in progress,” said Insp Chakanza.
