IN the week that my reputation was savaged, thanks to malicious allegations contained in the Zifa Asiagate report, the  logical thing would be to address the questions that have been raised and try and provide answers for a readership that rightly feels confused and betrayed.
But there is also a grave danger of taking the case of the defence too far, at a time when this controversy – especially as regards my connection to the saga – is only premised on allegations, bordering on the accuser’s word against mine, which renders such an exercise unnecessary at this stage.
