Zim beats SA in internet speed
Zimbabwe is among the top countries on the continent with the fastest growing Information and Communication Technology sectors, a recent survey has revealed.According to Ookla, a global leader in broadband testing, Zimbabwe has an average speed of 3,05 Megabits per second (Mbps) making it 5th on the continent and 103rd globally among countries with the fastest broadband download speeds.

‘Asia is world’s top weapons importer’
Asia leads the world when it comes to weapon imports, according to a study released yesterday by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI).Globally the volume of international transfers of major conventional weapons was 24 percent higher in the period 2007-11 compared to the 2002-06 period, the report said. Over the past five years, Asia and Oceania accounted for 44 percent in volume of conventional arms imports, the institute said.
