Drunk teacher smashes sister`s laptop
A CHITAKATIRA teacher who had one too many and recently smashed his sister’s laptop was caged two months for the offence. Prosper Simango, a teacher at Chitakatira High School in Zimunya area of Mutare District appeared before Mutare magistrate, Mr Tendai Mahwe facing malicious damage to property and domestic violence charges and was convicted on his own guilty plea.
Chiredzi killer doctor’s children still to be buried
The bodies of two Chiredzi siblings who were allegedly killed by their father, William Phiri, a prominent medical doctor and sugar cane farmer in the Lowveld, are still at the mortuary with the burial date and burial place still to be decided.
