Tobacco farmers to meet the target
The Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board (TIMB)latest statistics to 27 July showed that have sold 197 million kg worth US$547 million at an average price of US$2,78 a kg compared to the US$2,49 a kg average during the same period last year when 174 million kg of tobacco had been sold for US$434 million.
